Job Description:
Adecco is currently assisting a local client in their search to
fill a Laboratory job in Woburn, MA. This is a temporary
opportunity. As a Laboratory Worker you will be responsible for
producing materials and enzymes that feed the manufacture of
hepatocyte-related products. Working with animal and human tissue.

The position includes significant duties, such as:
*Prepares buffers, solutions, and medias for production.
*Prepares and tests a variety of tissue fractions (human and
animal).
*Performs Protein Assay and P450 spectral analysis.
*Performs cell culture operations infecting cells with recombinant
virus for protein production, harvesting, and preparation according
to SOP¿s.
*Assists in the isolation, culture, and cryopreservation of human
and animal primary cells and hepatocytes.
*Participates in other plant activities including Kaizens and 5S
blitzes.
Working Conditions:
Good working conditions. Works in a biosafety level 1 & 2 (BL1/BL2)
laboratory environment involving exposure to human and animal
tissue and cells. Wears proper PPE when required. Occasionally
lifts and/or moves lab equipment of 25 to 40 pounds.
Education:
High School Diploma or GED required.
Experience:
1 -3 years working knowledge of laboratory equipment and processes
(centrifuges, spectrophotometer, microscope, etc.) required.
Knowledge and advanced working experience of computers and MS
Office products.
This position will run from January to March of 2015 and pay $17.00
per hour.
