They believe in diversity, open-door policy, and promoting heavily from within.Due to growth, they are looking for a Senior Tax Analyst who will be responsible for tax planning and compliance activities in the assigned tax areas with the objective of maximizing tax efficiencies. This role will serve as an internal resource to deal directly with investors and tax authorities on tax-related matters.What's In It For You:

          • Good work environment and cultureSenior Tax Analyst Responsibilities:
            • Assist with various aspects of taxation within the company, including planning, reporting, and compliance for partnerships, REITs, and corporations in a reviewer capacity.
              • Assist with the design and/or implementation of tax strategies to minimize the overall tax burden of Berkshire's investors.
                • Interact directly with taxing authorities by responding to notices and requests for information.
                  • Implement and maintain internal controls over tax department functions.
                    • Utilize tax research tools and subscriptions in connection with drafting technical memorandums for internal/external distribution and documenting our tax files.Senior Tax Analyst Qualifications:
                      • 2-4 years of experience in a regional or national public accounting firm, with a strong knowledge of tax planning, tax compliance, and tax return reviews for corporate, partnership, and REIT tax matters
                        • Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or similar function and a CPA or EA designation preferred; MS Tax a plus
                          • Proficiency in MS Excel required, working knowledge of OneSource Income Tax also a plus
