As we continue to grow, we're on the lookout for a dynamic and experienced Senior Staff Accountant to join our growing Team.Summary:The Senior Staff Accountant is responsible for financial analysis, preparation of financial statements, cash reporting and analysis and oversight of monthly accounts payable closing.Key Responsibilities:Maintain the General Ledger including journal entries.Prepare accurate balance sheet account reconciliations, including prepaids, loan accounts, tax accruals and revenue recognition.Prepare monthly financial statements (P&L and balance sheet) in compliance with GAAP, FAR and company policy in a timely manner.Prepare sales and gross margin reporting for remote offices and total company.Process payroll cost accruals and labor cost allocations.Review purchase price variances and material cost accounting relating to service work orders and project work.Assist Controller with audits, forecasts and other financial reporting.Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree (BA) from four-year college or university in Accounting required.Minimum 4 years of related experience and/or training in a mid-size trade services or industrial company accounting department.Accurate and precise attention to detailStrong technical capabilities and organization skillsExcellent Excel skills required.Familiarity with SalesForce and FinancialForce is a plus.Proven ability to work in a deadline-driven environment.Computer skills required: Accounting Software; Contract Management Systems; Inventory Software; Microsoft OfficeBenefitsCompetitive Pay401(k) with company matchMedical, Dental & Vision InsuranceDisability & Life InsurancePaid Vacation & HolidaysFire Equipment Inc. is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
