Middlesex Corporation, a leader in heavy civil construction and transportation infrastructure, is seeking an experienced Superintendent to oversee and direct construction projects from conception to completion. As an integral part of our project management team, you will be a driving force behind the construction of highways, bridges, and rail systems that shape regional connectivity. This role demands a strong commitment to safety, quality, and efficiency, ensuring that projects are delivered on time and in accordance with contractual specifications. Schedule, coordinate, and manage the daily construction activities for civil and transportation projects Ensure projects are built to requirements and specifications established by construction drawings and documents Direct leadership and management of field crew, including subcontractors and laborers Maintain strict adherence to budgets and timelines, managing the costs and forecast project profitability Implement risk management policies and procedures, ensuring all site activities comply with safety regulations and federal and state law Regularly communicate project status to management, highlighting issues and solutions Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques Proven expertise in civil engineering principles, construction management, and best practices Skillful in the use of construction management software Strong leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k PMP (Project Management Professional) certification preferred OSHA safety certification is a plus
