Specialist / ABA Therapy training and have a minimum 1 years
Behavior Therapy experience. Applicants who do not meet these
qualifications will not be considered. This full-time, in-person
Behavior Specialist position is available for the 2025/2026 school
year in Barre, VT, supporting K-12 students within the Barre
Unified Union School District. The role focuses on delivering
behavior analytic services and support to students at Barre City
Elementary & Middle School and Barre Town Middle & Elementary
School. Contract duration follows the school calendar, tentatively
from ASAP through June 19, 2026. Key Responsibilities: - Implement
individualized behavior intervention plans and strategies for
students with varying needs across K-12 settings - Collaborate
closely with teachers, school staff, and families to monitor
progress and adjust interventions - Utilize applied behavior
analysis (ABA) principles to assess and support student behaviors -
Maintain thorough documentation and contribute to data-driven
decision-making - Provide training and support to educational teams
to foster positive behavioral outcomes Qualifications: - Bachelor's
degree in a related field preferred; relevant education combined
with two years of experience also considered - Meet all applicable
state requirements for behavior specialists and BCBA credentialing
- Strong understanding of behavior analysis and experience working
with school-aged children - Excellent communication and
collaboration skills - Commitment to student-centered,
evidence-based practices Location: Barre, Vermont Schedule:
Full-time, 37.5 hours per week aligned with the school year
