We are looking for an experienced Lead IAM SailPoint Engineer to join the IAM SailPoint Engineering team. Our mission, which we believe in and are excited by, is the opportunity to create a world class Security team to defend critical national infrastructure in the UK and US and the millions of customer communities that we serve.About the roleNational Grid is seeking an innovative, and experienced Lead IAM SailPoint Engineer to join the IAM SailPoint Engineering team.The engineers are the primary technical resource for the development and integration of IAM platforms and systems and are also key to the gathering of IAM requirements.The successful candidate(s) will possess strong technical knowledge on a number of IAM security technologies and have a solid understanding of information security and IAM processes.Key Accountabilities include:

  • Work in a distributed team environment where team members are spread across numerous locations and often communicate virtually to support clients IAM/IGA applications.
  • Develop security metrics definition and delivery.
  • Participate in the organization's incident response process
  • Perform software upgrades, updates and patches as needed.
  • Maintain, integrate and configure one or more IAM products such as SailPoint.
  • Attend vendor-specific meetings and conferences for business and professional development.
  • Create technical change requests (CRs) to support changes and upgrades to IAM solutions.
  • Manage and update IGA runbooks and process documentation
  • Participate in a 24x7 on-call rotationAbout youIdeally you will experience to include the following areas:
    • Defining RBAC profiles, Segregation of Duties (SoD) and scoping IAM Joiner/Mover/Leaver processes.
    • A strong multi-tasker with a keen eye for detail that thrives in a fast-paced work environment. Innovative, analytical and driven.
    • Problem solving and troubleshooting skills to independently resolve communication and systems issues
    • Proven experience as an IAM Engineer or Analyst.

    • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
    • Excellent communication, written, and presentation skills with the ability to present to a variety of external audiences, including senior executives
    • Must be able to work independently as well as work as part of a fast-moving team

    • Experience planning, researching and developing security policies, standards and procedures
    • Ability to learn and retain information on multiple products
