For more information, visit . POSITION Greenlight Biosciences is developing cutting edge RNA technologies that address global challenges in human health, food security, and pollinator safety. GreenLight is seeking a highly motivated and resourceful Lab Operations Senior Associate to support our Analytical Sciences Department. In this role you will oversee the operations of our various analytical laboratories, primarily at our Medford and Woburn (MA) locations. You will be responsible for managing instrumentation, service contracts, chromatography data systems, inventory of reagents and reference standards, and similar activities. The ideal candidate will have prior experience managing laboratories and working with chromatography data systems. The ability to work in a fast-paced environment, communicate proactively with stakeholders, and collaborate with other functions within the company is essential. This position reports to the Director of Analytical Sciences. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide day-to-day support to ensure efficient operation of analytical laboratories
• Manage instrument service contracts, coordinate service calls, and ensure preventative maintenance visits for laboratory instruments (HPLC, LCMS, CE, etc.)
• Manage OpenLab CDS multi-site Client/Server chromatography data system for Agilent HPLCs across five locations, acting as liaison with IT group
• Oversee resource utilization and instrument scheduling, provide reports on usage and justification for additional instruments and/or reallocation between teams
• Maintain inventory of consumables (dry goods), reagents, and other critical laboratory resources; ordering, stocking, and tracking usage as necessary
• Maintain inventory of reference standards and manage cold storage zones
• Establish best practices for record keeping in the laboratories
• Serve as liaison with Facilities team to ensure site infrastructure is optimized for analytical functions, and to manage flammable storage and hazardous waste PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in the life sciences
  • 4+ years' experience managing analytical laboratories
  • Prior experience with Agilent OpenLab CDS Client / Server system, or a similar CDS, is a must-have
  • Prior experience with laboratory instrumentation, including HPLC, LCMS, and CE systems
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software, especially Outlook, Excel, and Word
  • Ability to learn new software when needed
  • Strong attention to detail, problem solving skills, and a high level of resourcefulness are required
