Job Description:
The OR Registered Nurse provides patient care in the surgical
environment, overseeing assessment, diagnosis, planning,
implementation, and evaluation. They delegate, coordinate, and
supervise the OR team to ensure patient safety and deliver both
direct and indirect care.
Requires graduation from a State Board School of Nursing or
equivalent.
Preferred one year of nursing experience.
Must hold a current RN license in Texas.
Required certifications include AHA BLS (mandatory), AHA ACLS and
PALS (within 6 months).
CNOR certification is preferred.
Medication competence must be achieved within two weeks, and
computer competence within four weeks of employment.
Full-time position available.
