We are currently seeking a talented Pharmacist in Charge to join
our team at the Harbor Community Health Center in Plymouth. Come
join us as we open our new retail pharmacy at our health center in
Plymouth and expand our practice space.

Role:
The Pharmacist in Charge is responsible for the overall daily
operation of the in-house pharmacy including but not limited to:
filling of prescription medications, purchasing, preparation and
distribution of medications, clinical collaboration with the
Clinical Pharmacy team, interacting with medical staff,
appropriate/timely submission/reconciliation of prescription drug
claims, management of drug inventory and 340B compliance and
complying with all State and Federal regulations.
Responsibilities:
Oversees the timely and accurate delivery of services to customers
by ensuring pharmacy is properly staffed with certified employees
and stocked with appropriate inventory.
Interviews, hires, and properly trains of all pharmacy staff.
Ensures all pharmacy staff (pharmacists, interns and technicians)
licenses are current and in good standing with the Massachusetts
Board of Pharmacy.
Ensures Pharmacy Technician Trainees fully adhere to all
requirements for technician registration as outlined in Board of
Pharmacy regulations 247 CMR 8.03.
Prepares employee work schedules and evaluate work performance for
all staff.
Ensures the overall safety and security of the pharmacy which
includes pharmacy keys, alarm codes, etc.
Works collaboratively with administration and clinical care teams
to provide the best quality care for patients.
Oversees all activities related to dispensing medications.
Ensures strict compliance with all standardized professional
policies and procedures; adherence to State and Federal laws and
regulations.
Ensures the proper documentation of controlled substances including
perpetual and biennial inventories.
Maintains 340B compliance and training for the pharmacy
Prepares weekly and monthly pharmacy reports.
Oversees the implementation and documentation of drug recalls
through established policy and procedures, which are followed in a
timely manner, including documentation, and required detailing the
disposition of such drugs.
Requirements:
Bachelor of Science or Doctorate of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from a
college of pharmacy accredited by the American Council on
Pharmaceutical Education (ACPE)
A current, valid, unrestricted license to practice pharmacy in the
Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
3 years of pharmacy experience, preferably in an outpatient clinic
pharmacy services or in a retail pharmacy
One year of experience as a direct supervisor of pharmacy
technicians
Basic to intermediate skills in the following Microsoft Office 365
including Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams
Excellent verbal and written communications skills
