Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Cardiac Sonographer - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel /n Job Description/n American Traveler is hiring a part-time Echo Technologist / Cardiac Sonographer with at least 1 year of echocardiography experience and current RDCS or ARDMS certification. /n /n Responsibilities/n - Work in a cardiology practice setting - Part-time schedule, 24 or 30 hours per week, on-site Wednesdays through Fridays - Shift options include 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM for 30 hours or 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM for 24 hours, depending on candidate availability - Performs routine echocardiograms to assess heart chamber size, valve function, and blood flow - Uses Epic EMR system with prior experience preferred - Responsibilities include performing echocardiograms, reviewing patient charts, maintaining ultrasound equipment, and assisting physicians - Communicate findings to cardiologists and support staff with protocol and workflow adherence - Parking is not validated at Boston locations and public transportation or daily parking rates apply - Part of a clinical team environment with opportunities for flexible scheduling based on candidate availability - Scrubs or professional work attire required /n /n Requirements/n - Associate’s Degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred - Current RDCS or ARDMS certification required - Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association required - Minimum 1 year of experience performing echocardiogram studies preferred - Proof of valid Massachusetts license required if applicable - Flu vaccine required without exemptions - Two professional references required - Local candidates must reside at least 60 miles from Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston to qualify for travel rates /n Benefits/n - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts /n American Traveler Job ID P-634296.
