TNAA TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating
Room for a travel nursing job in Bristol, Connecticut. Job
Description & Requirements Specialty: OR - Operating Room
Discipline: RN Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours,
days Employment Type: Travel Certification Required: BLS (CPR/BLS)
Facility Type: Community hospital, Level III Trauma Center OR
Capacity: 4–6 operating rooms running daily Number of OR Suites: 8
Average Cases per Day: 15–25 Primary Services: General Surgery /
Bariatrics; Urology; Orthopedics (Sports Medicine, Total Joints,
Advanced Ankle, Ortho Spine); Gynecology; Limited Vascular,
Plastics, and Ophthalmology Common Cases: Urology; GYN; Robotics;
Orthopedics; Spine; Plastics; Bariatrics COVID & PPE: All patients
are COVID-tested pre-operatively; Adequate PPE available Experience
Requirements: Minimum of 5 years OR experience Previous travel
experience required Scrubbing: RN scrubbing not required Staffing:
OR Charge Nurse on duty;6 Surgical Techs EMR: Meditech Shifts &
Scheduling: 6:45 AM – 3:15 PM Call Requirements: Weeknight Call:
7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (Monday–Friday) Weekend Call: 7:00 AM – 7:00 AM
(Saturday or Sunday) Holiday Call: Yes Mandatory Call: Yes Separate
call rotation for travelers after core staff select call Number of
call days fluctuates based on staffing Call Response Time: 30
