Provide direct and individualized nursing care to patients based on the application of scientific nursing principles. Assume leadership roles in the management, coordination, and delegation of patient care within the OR. Prepare operating rooms and surgical tools according to stringent sanitization protocols and specific surgical requirements. Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patient conditions and any complications arising during surgery. Act as an intermediary between the surgical team, patients, and their families to ensure clear communication and compassionate care. Continuously update clinical knowledge and skills through ongoing education and professional development. Advanced knowledge of surgical procedures and patient care in an operating room environment. Strong leadership skills and the ability to supervise and mentor less experienced nurses. Excellent communication, empathy, and decision-making skills. Proficiency in using OR-specific technology and software. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice. Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR) certification.
