Techs 2RP Annex: 1 RN and 1 ED Tech o 3a-7a 1 Charge RN 6 RN 2 ED
Tech 1RP Annex: 1 RN and 1 ED Tech Patient Ratios 4:1 (flexibility
in times of acute surge) Type of equipment - U/S IV skills, Lucas
Device, Hotline Rapid Infuser, Alaris pumps, Pyxis EMR Sunrise/
Allscripts Patient Population - Multiple comorbidities, NEHI (New
England Heart Institute) patients- complicated heart conditions,
DKA, Sepsis, Trauma, Stroke Typical hiring profile Skill Set Most
recruited for: Must have: candidates without these skills will not
be considered for the role. At least 2 years ED experience for
contract labor BLS/ACLS/PALS/TNCC for contract labor Adaptability
Strong communication skills with patients and peers Strong

thinking skills Strong understanding of medical terminology
(department coordinators) Preferred or nice to have: candidates
with these skills will be considered first. At least one year ED

BLS/ACLS/PALS/TNCC preferred (must for contract labor) Floating

sweatshirts (safety) Unit Guidelines/Policies: Please feel free to
attach unit policies and guidelines. RN's working with policy
written protocols based off chief complaint. Able to order complete
work up of labs, EKG, x-rays, medications (protocol based) to
initial patient care Weekends and On-call (if any) Every other
weekend for contract labor (RN), every third for HCA hired staff
(RNs, Medics, ED Techs), every other weekend for department
