Apply now to join our healthcare team and make a difference in patient care!/n /n/nRegistered Nurse Job Details/n /n - Location: Burlington, VT 05401 (Vermont healthcare jobs)/n - Facility: Large, teaching hospital – Neurosurgical & Surgical Unit (M5/McClure 5)/n - Assignment Type: Travel Nursing (Travel RN jobs)/n - Start Date: December 15, 2025/n - End Date: January 26, 2026/n - Duration: 6 weeks/n - Shift: 12-hour day shifts/n - Hours per Week: 36/n - Schedule: Every other weekend; flexible to meet unit and patient needs/n - Holiday Coverage: Work 2 out of 4 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, Christmas Eve, New Year's Day)/n - Estimated Weekly Salary: $1,990 - $2,130/n /n/nRegistered Nurse Qualifications/n /n - Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience in a large, teaching hospital/n - Prior travel nursing experience required/n - Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Vermont or compact state)/n - Certifications: AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) – NIHSS required before start/n - Epic EMR experience within the past 2 years (required)/n - Reliable transportation required; public transportation not available in this area/n - Vehicle must have all-season or snow tires (November–April)/n - Explain all employment gaps over 90 days/n - Complete work history (bed count, EMR, facility type, etc.) required for submission/n /n/nMed/Surg Telemetry RN Responsibilities/n /n - Provide high-quality nursing care to neurosurgical and surgical patients on the M5/McClure 5 unit/n - Monitor and interpret telemetry data to ensure patient safety and quality outcomes/n - Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans/n - Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed by physicians/n - Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in Epic EMR/n - Adapt to schedule changes, including weekend and holiday coverage, to meet patient care needs/n - Participate in bi-weekly orientation and ongoing professional development for nursing staff/n /n/n /n Discover the best of Burlington, Vermont—a top destination for healthcare professionals seeking rewarding nursing jobs in a supportive community.
