This travel nursing opportunity is ideal for PCU nurses and travel RNs with neuro/surgical experience who want to work in a supportive environment with access to outdoor recreation and the amenities of the Upper Valley. /n/nJob Details/n /n - Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,130 - $2,250 (Travel RN)/n - Setting: 10-bed Progressive Care Unit (Neuro Special Care) — PCU nurse, neuro PCU/n - Contract Duration: 13 weeks (April 27, 2026 – July 25, 2026)/n - Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week/n - Shift: 12-hour shifts (PM-AM: 7:00pm–7:00am or AM-PM: 7:00am–7:00pm)/n - Employment Type: Travel RN / Travel nursing/n - On-Call: Yes/n - Location: Lebanon, New Hampshire — Upper Valley nursing jobs, NH travel nursing jobs/n /n/nJob Requirements/n /n - Active Registered Nurse (RN) license/n - Minimum 1 year of recent experience in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) or similar acute care setting/n - Experience with neuro and surgical patient populations preferred (neuro special care, stroke, TBI)/n - Proficiency with arterial lines, ventriculostomies, subdural drains, and lumbar drains/n - Hemodynamic and invasive blood pressure monitoring experience/n - Familiarity with BiPAP/CPAP, trach patients on ventilators, and low-dose vasopressors/n - Ability to manage complex wounds, lines, tubes, and drains for post-surgical patients/n /n/nResponsibilities/n /n - Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients with neuromuscular disorders, meningitis, stroke, traumatic brain injury (TBI), spinal cord injury, and post-surgical needs/n - Monitor and manage patients undergoing normal pressure hydrocephalus (NPH) trials with lumbar drains/n - Administer vasoactive medications, inotropes, Mannitol, and hypertonic 3% saline as needed/n - Perform hemodynamic monitoring and invasive blood pressure monitoring via arterial lines/n - Provide care for patients with tracheostomies, mechanical ventilation, and complex wound management/n - Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (neurosurgery, respiratory therapy, physical therapy) to ensure optimal patient outcomes/n - Participate in on-call rotations and provide reliable coverage as part of the travel nursing assignment/n /n/n Apply now: Join our healthcare team today.
