What You'll Do The Core Software Systems Team at Symbotic is looking for a Software Engineering Manager to lead the Routing Team. The candidate must understand the importance of fostering a strong team environment and have the ability to develop trusting relationships with their team members. In This RoleOwn the complete software development lifecycle, defining, prioritizing, designing, and leading implementation and testing of new features within a fast paced, Agile environmentManage the day-to-day activities of the engineering team and ensure project plans and delivery commitments are metManage department resources, staffing, mentoring, and enhancing to maintain a best-in-class engineering team. Hold regular 1:1s with the teamPromote and instill best practices in software engineering developmentCollaborating with other engineering teams on planning, design, and development for releasesCoach, mentor, and lead a diverse group of software engineers, helping them to grow technically and professionallyHelp attract and develop top tier talent through recruitment activities and workforce developmentWhat You'll NeedBachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related discipline10 years of experience in Software DevelopmentMinimum of 3 years spent as a team lead or manager of software developmentProven ability to deliver high-quality, reliable code implemented on scheduleExperience leading teams in an Agile development environmentKnowledge of C++ or .NET technologies including C#, WCF and Entity FrameworkExperience with Distributed and Highly Performant systemsFamiliarity with SQL Server database technologies is desirableExcellent written and verbal communication skills.#LI-JT1#LI-OnsiteAbout SymboticSymbotic is an automation technology leader reimagining the supply chain with its end-to-end, AI-powered robotic and software platform.
