Job DescriptionThis opening is for a large and dynamic program developing an Electronic Warfare (EW) product onboard a military jet aircraft. This position is responsible for maintaining and improving the Software Development Environment, specifically in the area of the DevOps pipeline. The software team operates in a highly collaborative environment with mentorship readily available and ample opportunity to learn and grow. All phases of software development are underway in different technical areas, offering a variety of challenging work. Candidates should be interested in gaining a deep technical understanding of the software development environment and in improving it. Responsibilities include troubleshooting failed tests, collaborating with Subject Matter Experts, and enhancing test automation through scripting and tool development. Opportunities include debugging, Python scripting, custom tool implementation, and C++ development as the test suite expands.The work includes:

• Prototyping a modernized build system to enhance automation
• Automating Windows tests to run in Jenkins and lab environments
• Improving the software test infrastructure
• Adding automated checks to promote better development practicesRequired Education, Experience, & Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related with 4+ years of experience, or Master's with 2+ years
• Active Secret Security Clearance (within 2 years)
• Experience in software test automation
• Scripting expertise
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot deeply
• Good communication skills for cross-discipline collaboration
• Experience with object-oriented/high-level developmentPreferred Education, Experience, & Skills
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices
  • Experience with Git, Jira, Confluence, BitBucket
  • Background in software development
  • Jenkins and CI/CD pipeline experience
  • Advanced Windows troubleshooting skills
