Kingspan North America Internship Program The Kingspan North
America Summer Internship Program is a 10-week, hands-on, immersive
experience designed for rising juniors and rising seniors seeking
real-world experience within a professional organization. Interns
are embedded within functional teams, where they contribute to
meaningful, project-based work aligned with key business priorities
and develop practical skills through day-to-day responsibilities.
In addition to role-specific work, interns participate in weekly
learning sessions focused on professional development and career
readiness. The program provides broad exposure to the organization,
opportunities to apply academic learning in real time, and a strong
foundation for future career growth The program culminates in an
internship showcase, where interns present their results, key
learnings, and overall experience to leadership. Internship
Overview Morin, a Kingspan Group company, is seeking a Process
Engineering Intern to support a high-impact project focused on
packaging efficiency, cost reduction, and quality improvement. This
role offers exposure to manufacturing operations, product handling,
and cross-functional problem solving in a real-world industrial
environment. Project Title: Packaging at Morin, A 360-Degree Review
Project Description: Packaging plays a critical role in product
quality, cost control, and customer satisfaction. Currently,
packaging is labor-intensive, costly, and highly sensitive to
improper handling, which can result in customer complaints. This
project will evaluate: Current Morin packaging methods Competitor
packaging approaches New and emerging packaging materials
Opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce cost, and minimize
damage The intern will apply problem-solving, data analysis, market
research, and cost/payback analysis to identify practical, scalable
improvements. Project Scope All packaging and packaging-related
activities are in scope Consideration will be given to feasibility
and speed of adoption, recognizing trial and validation
requirements Key Deliverables Market analysis of competitor
packaging solutions Cost analysis of current packaging methods
Estimated cost of packaging scrap Analysis of packaging-related
customer complaints Recommendations for packaging cost reductions
and alternative solutions Required Skills & Qualifications
Experience with 3D drawing (required) Strong analytical and
problem-solving skills Ability to conduct research, analyze data,
and present findings clearly Preferred Majors Engineering
