POSITION SUMMARY Reporting to the CEO, the Head of Investor Relations will work closely with the broader leadership team to build and manage a proactive and best-in-class investor relations function, corporate board management, and other strategic projects. In addition to assisting with the launch of our Investor Relations function as a newly public company, this position will provide insight, feedback, and advice to the leadership team regarding investor perceptions and expectations and serve as the primary support to the CEO, CFO and SVP of Corporate Affairs. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly capable, highly enthusiastic, determined individual to make a significant contribution to GreenLight's success. This person should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills coupled with a solid financial acumen. The qualified candidate will successfully interact at a senior level internally and possess a strategic understanding of the company and the biotechnology landscape. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee the development and execution of a strategic best-in-class investor relations platform for GreenLight, serve as a key advisor to the CEO, and the leadership team, and act as the primary spokesperson / point of contact with the investment community.
  • Plan, execute and manage a proactive investor relations program, including planning and presentation for various key investor events, investor conferences, roadshows, shareholder meetings, and earnings calls.
  • Facilitate the establishment of relationships of trust between senior management, investors, and analysts; foster a reputation for openness and transparency among those stakeholders, and carefully guard the credibility of management by thoughtfully providing information & data to guide the communication of expectations for future company performance.
  • Develop and manage company relationships externally (analysts, bank, investors, IR vendors) and internally across functions & partnerships.
  • Serve as the eyes and ears for investment community (current investors, potential investors, financial institutions, analysts), positioning GreenLight relative to others in the marketplace; Talk about GreenLight and sector in a consistent manner, without inadvertent release of material non-public information.
  • Facilitate responses to external requests for financial and other company-specific information in a timely, accurate and compliant manner.
  • Continually gather, monitor, and report on market intelligence and inform, educate, and advise the leadership team about financial and industry trends, shareholder concerns, and competitor performance benchmarking and activities that may impact the company.
  • Coordinate the quarterly earnings and investor engagement cycle, including ongoing review of internal performance and metrics, and support the development of key earnings messages, scripts, presentations, and other supporting materials.
  • Establish a comprehensive investor relations infrastructure, including collaborating with the finance and planning team on internal processes for managing financial disclosure and earnings announcements.
  • Contribute to developing and coordinating all investor relations communications materials (e.g., press release, investor presentation, and comprehensive Q & A).
  • Understanding market views on valuation and valuation models in order to manage and build company positioning.
  • Monitor, review, and summarize financial research, key company events, and industry updates to provide ongoing proactive feedback loop and insights to internal audiences.
  • Support all public messaging and reporting requirements, including ESG strategy, Proxy statement, annual report, etc. Lead ad-hoc data exploration and initiatives as needed by executive leadership to support IR messaging or other key internal objectives.
  • Oversee & support all planning and preparations for meetings of the Board of Directors and committees as the internal/external voice of investor relations. Relationship management
  • Travel domestically or internationally as required, including annual conferences and meetings when appropriate PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS
    • Experience in leading investor relations experience preferably in a life sciences company.
    • Strong financial modeling and reporting expertise.
    • Demonstrated ability to develop, implement and manage IR strategies.
    • Hands-on experience managing proactive financial communications, with a reputation for transparency and responsiveness.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Motivates, inspires, and influences at all levels; develop credible, solid relationships.
    • Bachelor's in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or equivalent (MBA preferred) CRITICAL COMPETENCIES FOR SUCCESS
