This includes the management of space issues, facilities management and development procedures; upkeep of the Fletcher Complex- including Cabot, Mugar, Goddard Halls and office space in Tufts wood frames.
What You'll Do

Under limited supervision, the Facilities Coordinator is responsible for maintenance of space used by the Fletcher school: oversight of specific tasks related to upkeep/repairs, renovations, construction, furniture installations; office moves; phone line requests; security, building access, and issuance of keys; oversight of storage areas, and oversight of complex-wide services like custodial, shredding, vending machines, and MFDs. A central player in the school's graduate student housing program (approximately 68 beds), this position oversees the agreement and logistics between Fletcher and one lessor to ensure the housing needs of Fletcher students are met. As the main liaison between Fletcher and Tufts Residential Life, this individual facilitates the logistics for on- campus housing for students each academic year. This position will also work in close coordination with the events management team and will be the point person on all manner of logistics of the physical space for major events like Commencement and Convocation. This will require coordinating with facilities and other divisions as needed.
What We're Looking For

Basic Requirements:

• Knowledge and experience typically acquired through a Bachelor's degree and at least five years' work experience in an educational or professional setting.
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office suite, excellent oral, written and communication skills, ability to balance complex tasks and deadlines, and handle confidential information.
• Strong interpersonal and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to manage with influence as opposed to direct authority.
• Ability to collaborate across large, decentralized organizations.
• Must be well organized, flexible, and enjoy the challenges of supporting a community of diverse people Preferred Qualifications:
  
  • Knowledge of a room scheduling system.
  • Ability to work diplomatically with a demanding clientele of faculty, staff, and students with high expectations for quality of services as well as with outside vendors and other departments within the university (security, facilities, etc.).
  • Experience in higher education, commercial real estate, or office management preferred Specal Work Schedule Requirements:
    
    • Expectation to work Commencement weekend. This is a hybrid position and can work 1 day per week from home; must work onsite the other 4 days.
      Pay Range
      
      Minimum $46,700.00, Midpoint $58,450.00, Maximum $70,200.00
      
      
      
      Salary is based on related experience, expertise, and internal equity; generally, new hires can expect pay between the minimum and midpoint of the range.
