bilingual/bicultural behavioral health treatment provider serving
Boston and the Merrimack Valley. Our mission is to empower

through comprehensive, integrated care.About the roleThe Clinician
will provide clinical services to clients in Latinas y Ninos
residential center. Clinician will serve individuals with
co-occurring disorders. The Clinician will identify and utilize the
clients strengths, needs, abilities, and preferences in completing
assessments and to develop individualized service plans. The
Clinician also will provide group treatment services using
evidence-based practices, as needed.As part of the Casa Esperanza,
Inc. team, the Clinician will provide services in a fully
integrated, holistic, and collaborative manner using a
team-treatment approach to ensure the coordination of all client
services, both across Casa programs and with external providers.
This integrated model aims to facilitate clear communication
amongst all providers and eliminate duplication of efforts or
conflicting approaches to care; detail necessary follow-up and
assignments; and ensure wrap-around support services are in place
to maximize treatment effectiveness and clinical outcomes.What
you'll doEssential Functions:Client Care:Provides crisis
intervention counseling, with referrals to ongoing mental health
services when needed, as well as primary care through our Casa
Integrated Care model.Utilizes case conferencing and the program
team to coordinate and ensure client treatment plans are effective
and appropriate.Engages external and internal service providers to
better meet clients needsProvides group treatment using
evidence-based practices including Motivational Interviewing,
Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Relapse Prevention, Relational and
Psychodynamic therapy, etc., as needed.Participate in weekly
clinical meetings to provide updates and assist in the
decision-making related to treatment planning and
implementation.Complete biopsychosocial risk assessment, treatment
planning, safety planning, and a variety of other screenings and
assessments with individual patient sessions.Facilitate weekly
individual sessionsEngage family and other collaterals for the
purpose of aftercare planning.Administrative: Ensures adherence to
program treatment philosophies and policies.Maintains client and
program records in accordance with agency requirements and
timelinesAssist with utilization management to include assessing
appropriateness, effectiveness, and medical need for services.Work
with the Practice Management Team to ensure authorizations are up
to date & units have not expired.Assist in all reporting as
required by supervisors.Attends all trainings and professional
development opportunities as required.Attends mandatory weekly MDT
meetings.Maintains knowledge of current trends and developments in
the field.Participate in weekly programmatic and clinical
supervision.Qualifications:Masters degree required in social work,
psychology, counseling, or a related field requiredExperience
working with a psychiatric/substance-abusing/co-occurring
population.Familiarity in working in a strength-based,
trauma-informed environmentKnowledge of appropriate community
resourcesKnowledge of the issues affecting people with HIV/AIDS in
recovery from substance abuse/alcoholismExperience with individuals
dealing with homelessness, mental illness, domestic violence, and
the criminal justice systemExperienced in crisis management and
interventionExperience providing individual, family, and group
interventions to target population.Bilingual, Spanish
preferredStrong verbal/written communicationAbility to work as both
an effective team member and independentlyKnowledge & Practice of
evidence-based practices including cognitive behavioral therapy,
relapse prevention and motivational interviewing techniques, are
preferredAbility to meet the physical requirements and training
requirements of the position.Schedule:Full TimeSunday to Thursday
