Job Description:

Open: ITS Helpdesk Support technician (contract)

Location: Medford, MA (REMOTE moving Hybrid)

Pay: Up to $27/hr.

OVERALL RESPONSIBILITIES:

The ITS Helpdesk support technician is responsible for day-to-day support for end users and handle helpdesk calls and tickets, inventory management, and ensures that onsite and remote users requests are addressed in timely fashion. Under the supervision of the IT Manager, the candidate will work in close collaboration with other ITS team members, escalate and coordinate issues and tasks to achieve high quality customer satisfaction and meet the set service level agreement. The candidate will also coordinate work with vendors as needed, as well as with internal departments.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

Answer helpdesk phone calls and create ticket for incidents and service request.

Accurate Assignment of service desk tickets

Prompt response to helpdesk requests based on SLAs and SOPs

Setup new users: new laptops with standard image and CLIENT standard applications and ensure all IT

equipment and services are functional.

Perform end users training as needed, and On-boarding orientation

Support conference rooms technology and setup and perform routine checks to ensure the rooms are

functional.

Prepare and file computer equipment assignment and manage the pool of shared computer equipment.

Manage copiers, printers and work support provider as needed

Perform and keep inventory up to date

Coordinate recycling of IT equipment as needed

Account Management On-Boarding, off-boarding

Office suite applications Support

Implementation and monitoring of End Point security software

QUALIFICATIONS:

BA/B.S. in computer science or a related field or equivalent experience.

1 - 2 years of relevant experience

Experience with Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, and networking.

Experience with Conferencing products: WebEx, Zoom, Microsoft Teams

Experience installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting Windows10 and Microsoft Office suite and

basic Knowledge of PC and Mac hardware.

Experience in supporting Office 365 Apps

Ability to learn quickly, meet deadlines, prioritize, take initiative and work independently.

Ability to work under pressure and with limited supervision. A self-starter.

Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and written/verbal communication skills
