    The Role

    The PIM (Product Information Management) team is responsible for enterprise-level software platforms that support both Product MDM (Master Data Management) and DAM (Digital Asset Management). As a PIM Business Analyst, you will support the implementation of a new DAM platform, which will enable complete digital asset lifecycle management from asset creation/acquisition to asset retirement, while providing powerful metrics to help the business utilize digital assets to their fullest potential. You will work closely with business units across the organization to build systems to provide users access to high-quality product data and images, while crafting business processes to help them to do their jobs more efficiently. Day to day tasks will include facilitating user discussions, documenting user requirements and writing user stories to support software development. In addition, you will work as part of the PIM development team to plan, administer and document the results of user acceptance testing and assist the teams with testing and production support. R eports to the Senior Manager, Product Information Management and will be a core member of the Product Information Management team.

    • Document user requirements in support of roadmap objectives
    • Translate user requirements into stories for implementation by the software development team
    • Support Data Quality initiatives by working with business partners, data governance stakeholders, and the IT department to codify standards, identify met rics to track and identify potential data integrity gaps.
    • Work with product owner, stakeholders, and development team to establish test plans and documentation for user acceptance testing
    • Plan, administer, and document findings from user acceptance testing
    • Assist teams with testing and production support
      What you bring to the team

      • BA/BS in a related field
      • 3-5 years prior experience as a business analyst specializing in enterprise systems such as product information management (PIM), Digital Asset Manager (DAM) and/or scientific data management systems, preferably within or supporting the biotech/life sciences industry
      • Experience in business requirements elicitation and definition, requirements planning and management, gap analysis and documentation, solution assessment and validation
      • Proficiency in written English (spelling and grammar)
      • Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
      • Ability to produce high-quality work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment that requires meeting time-sensitive deadlines
      • Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines with limited supervision
      • Additional skills preferred, but not required:
        • Experience working within an Agile framework
        • Experience with MDM and/or DAM Platforms
        • Experience planning and conducting user acceptance testing
        • Understanding of systems engineering concepts
        • Proficiency with diagramming/visualization software like Visio - or Lucidchart
        • Proficiency with issue tracking software, such as Jira---.
        • Ability to manage multiple priorities and multi-task.
