Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and
minimum 1 years Special Education Teacher experience required.

considered. An elementary school in Hyde Park, MA is seeking a
dedicated Special Education Teacher to provide support for students
in 3rd grade and K1 classrooms. This full-time, long-term
substitute position offers the opportunity to work within an
elementary special education setting, supporting diverse learners
with individualized educational needs. Key responsibilities
include: Delivering specialized instruction and support aligned
with individual education plans (IEPs) for students in 3rd grade
and K1. Collaborating with classroom teachers, therapists, and
families to create inclusive learning environments. Monitoring
student progress, maintaining accurate records, and adapting
teaching strategies to meet students evolving needs. Managing a
caseload focused on elementary special education. Maintaining
compliance with all applicable state and federal regulations.
Qualifications and desired experience: Licensure in PreK8 Special
Education strongly preferred. Experience supporting elementary-aged
students in special education settings. Ability and flexibility to
cover both 3rd grade and K1 grade bands is highly valued. Strong
communication and collaboration skills, with a passion for
fostering student growth. Availability to start as soon as
possible. This position is a contract long-term substitute role
extending through March 2026, with strong potential to continue
into the next school year. The school prefers a single Special
Education provider to cover both grade bands, rather than splitting

Compensation for this position ranges from $30.20 to $50.20.
